I wish everyone had the chance to know Erica and her husband, Preston. To be welcomed in their home, in their life, and their adventures, has been the best thrill in the last few months. Tomorrow they’re off to do ministry and change the world in Chicago, Illinois. it’s not all beautiful pictures in a field, or art gallery dates, or road trips. sometimes it’s long days spent in the walls of hospitals and pharmacies and the safety of home. some days it’s fear and exhaustion, frustration and sickness. but these days can be magical too- with kisses where it hurts, a strong hand to hold, the promise of ice cream to try and make everything better, and a warm chest to lay on, dustin makes my bad days, the best days. he turns me in a fit of laughter while waiting to hear lab results. he lets me squeeze his hand as hard as I can. he reminds me to take my medicine. he comforts me so much- and I know so well that I’ll always be taken care of. 💓 @moshwithdustin #mcm
